Heartburn

Heartburn is my new enemy. Other then getting huge, it is my biggest symptom of being pregnant.

No...that's really not okay

Today was my first day back at work after a week long vacation. I love vacations!Check Spelling

Anyway, three people told me today that I was getting fat. "Wow, you are getting fat girl". WTF! It is not acceptable to tell a pregnant woman that she is getting fat. People don't tell truly overweight people that they are fat. Same rules apply for pregnant people. It just isn't cool. It is not a compliment.

Some acceptable things to say....

Awwe....look how cute you are pregnant.

You are the cutest little pregnant person.

Your cute little pregnant belly....so cute....

....people need to learn to lie. You are not to be truthful with a pregnant person. Hormones are raging and you could seriously get hurt. If I had not been coming off of a vacation, who knows....

Rug No More

JR and I woke up this morning to a nightmare. Our little Boston Terrorist made nasty poopies EVERYWHERE in our living room. Then she brought it into our bathroom. Hello?!!?

She crapped all over our rug in the living room. JR almost threw up several times while attempting to clean it all up. The rug ended up on the side of the road, because nope, the baby will not crawl around on a pooped out rug and after we kept discovering new "spots", we just gave up.

Some sad fool came by and picked up the rug from the side of the road....boy are they in for a surprise.

If I ever have another dog..."if"...it will be a three pound chihuahua. Surely one of those can't poop out a wheel barrell full like Layla proved she could do.

Stew Beef

I cooked a new recipe recently that I thought I would share, because it was really tasty, easy to make, inexpensive and makes a lot of food.

2 1/2 lbs stew beef
2 cans cream of onion soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom with garlic soup

Season stew beef with salt and pepper. Place into a large casserole dish. Top with soup. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 3 hours at 350 degrees.

Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

Yum!
