The past couple of weeks have been pretty bland. I had a stomach virus one weekend, then a cold the next weekend during a trip to Savannah and then yet another cold this past weekend. I don't know how someone catches a cold two weekends in a row, but I managed to do that. I'm hoping that I have met the quota for sicknesses for the year and I am pretty confident that my scabby nose and lips(from all of the nose blowing with cheap tissue) will heal by Christmas, so that I don't look diseased in the pictures that will be taken.
JR's mom(Granna) and I took Coy to see Santa Saturday. I could tell that he didn't really like Santa, but he didn't cry. Today, his Granna and Aunt Shannon took him and his cousin K.J. to see Santa together and he openly expressed his true feelings about Santa. We have a snapshot of the meltdown.
So, me, JR and Coy leave Christmas day on the loooooooong trip to Florida, and I can't wait to be there and see everybody.
Little nuggets of what is going on in my life and my thoughts and perceptions of those daily events.

Men Shouldn't.....
Men really shouldn't dye their hair. I'm not referring to your typical young guy with highlights. That's acceptable. What I am referring to is your out of shape, mid forties and beyond men that decide that their once dark brown, now turning grey hair should suddenly turn an unusual shade of red. The reason that it becomes an unusual shade of red is because the dye product for brown hair can't look natural..it always comes out "reddish". So, instead of looking younger, it just makes the person look creepy and crazy.
Go with the grey. Look older and wiser...women like that better. Otherwise, go ahead and buy a huge kidnapper van, you have nothing to lose.
