Date Night

JR and I had a date night on Saturday. We went out to eat, shared a bottle of wine and watched a movie. Coy spent the night with Granna and Grandpa. I would love to say that I slept in this morning, but I was up at 7:00a.m. by force of habit.

Grandpa and Coy went to church together and Coy stayed awake during the singing, but fell asleep as soon as the preacher started preaching :) This afternoon I took Coy outside until I started sneezing. We were outside about fifteen minutes.

This evening, me, JR and Coy went for a walk around town. We had a small altercation with one of the neighbor's dogs. JR almost pulled his gun to shoot it, since it was huge, running at us and all of its hair was standing up on his back. His owner was doing a pathetic job of controlling him, too. JR stomped his foot and clapped at him instead. It made the dog run back home and I was thankful that I didn't have to witness a death.

I can't believe that the weekend is already over. I will be heading to Florence in the morning for round two at the dentist.

Is It Friday Yet?

This week has seemed especially long for some reason. I think it is because I haven't been at work very much. If I work all day every day, then the week seems to go by much faster. Monday was a vacation day. Tuesday was a sick day, since I left at lunch with a migraine and ended up at the doctor's office getting antibiotics for my sinus infection. Wednesday, I had to go to Troy, NC(another armpit), for a credit risk training session. I started today with round one of my many dental visits getting a crown on one of my teeth. Which is less than fun under normal circumstances, but really sucked bad with a stuffy nose. So, having all of these extra events outside of my normal work routine was exhausting and made the week drag out. Even though I hate when people say or write what I am about to....I must do it anyway.....T.G.I.F!

On a more fun note: Coy went to the doctor on Monday and he weighed 24lbs and was 29 1/2 inches long....and, he will be 7 months old tomorrow.

Sinus Infection

I went to the doctor this afternoon to get some allergy medicine that may actually work. While I was there it was discovered that I also have a sinus infection...yippee!

At this moment I am watching Paula Dean cook up some tasty treats. I feel myself gaining weight just watching her cook. Also, it is making me think about a delicious treat that I had on Sunday called a Russell Stover's chocolate covered marshmallow. It was so delicious and I am sad that I only had one and not 101 of them.

Suffocated By Pollen

My allergies are BAAAADDDD!!!!

That's pretty much all I can focus on right now, but I am going to try to push through the misery and manage to do something fun today.

Thus Far

Thus far this week......I have worked two days, today will be three when I finally get there. Since Monday, I have had to deal with a particular real estate agent that is making me insane! If I have another email from him when I get to work, I think I am going to freak out on him.

He isn't really a real estate agent and for some reason a small number of people still list their houses with him. Since he acts like he is far above selling houses in the price range around here, he is so super annoying to do business with. He doesn't want to do anything that is actually his job as the agent to do, complains about EVERYTHING, and is just annoying in every other possible way. I can't stand working with him! All I want to ask him is: Do you want to sell this house? Do the sellers want their house sold? If the answer is yes, then shut up and do your job!

Okay, moving on. I am so excited to be off this coming Friday and Monday. The weather is supposed to be amazing and I have fun things planned. Friday, Coy and I are making a trip to Florence and even though Florence is a crap hole, it is going to be fun hanging out with my favorite little boy. Then, Saturday, me JR and Coy are going to get up and walk downtown to eat breakfast at Mary's, since that is our new thing....as long as the weather permits. Then, dinner with friends Saturday night. Sunday will be church and then hanging out with the family and maybe a little bit of planting flowers. Monday will be awesome until about 1:30 when I have to take Coy to the doctor for his immunizations. Poor Coy.

So, I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I hope that today's blog didn't totally ruin it, since it may be the most boring blog that I have ever written!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend we celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday by going to a Japanese steakhouse. Coy and K.J. enjoyed watching the chef prepare the meal. They are both big boys now and can finally sit in a highchair.

Yesterday was officially the first day of Spring and I celebrated it by having a full blown allergy attack. The next month should be filled with itchy eyes, sneezing and lots of benadryl...yay for me!

Fun Times

My mom and sister came to visit me for almost a week. We had a great time visiting. I wish that we lived closer and could visit anytime.

Coy is six months old and is so much fun. His personality continues to show more each day and he is a sweet and funny little boy. He discovered his feet a while back, but he realized last night that he can put them in his mouth. Oh boy!
