Weekend Update

Things are getting a little easier around the house with the new baby. Coy doesn't like to fall asleep until about 1-2a.m.; that is a bit of a problem...however, he will sleep until 8-9a.m.

I am unfortunately getting hooked on a few new t.v. shows. I am even contemplating getting tevo, so that I can record and watch during the day while dreaded soap operas are on. Anyway, I've never been big on watching t.v., so this is a little shameful for me.

Also, JR and I made our first outing together last night. We went to a local restaurant for dinner and after about 45 minutes, I was starting to have some separation anxiety. I don't feel comfortable leaving the baby with anyone but my husband. I feel like he is afraid if he is staying with anyone else. Word of the day....Crazy....yep, that's what I think I may be.

Overall, it is really fun having a little baby. We are very happy and enjoying every minute(well, maybe not those late night minutes).

Coy Blair Joyner

Well after waiting what seemed like forever to have him, Coy is finally here. I guess if he had to come after his due date, he picked a pretty neat day to arrive. We will never forget his birthday...09-09-09

So far, I have learned what sleep deprivation actually is and why it is used as a form of torture. Also, JR has claimed the title of Diaper Changing King. He is proud of his skills.

We love our new addition. He is such a sweet baby!

Should Have Been Yesterday

My baby's due date was yesterday. I am still pregnant. Due dates are only an estimated date "they" say, it can be up to 2-3 weeks after that date that you have your baby.

Thankfully, my doctors aren't total masochists and they will induce labor before I have a fully grown toddler inside of my body.

I go to the doctor tomorrow and I am praying that they will schedule and induction to get this baby evicted from my body! The one date that I didn't want the baby to be born on....September 11th. I am coming to the realization that Coy's birthday just might be September 11th.
